How it started
Hair-industry entrepreneur Dean Christal asked scientists Craig Hawker and Eric Pressly to pursue what he called the “holy grail” of hair: repairing damage at the bond level.
The original goal
The first goal was to protect and rebuild disulfide bonds during demanding salon chemical services rather than simply coat damaged hair.
How the idea still shows up
The professional treatment became a patented bond-building platform and later a numbered home-care range.
