How it started
Carmen Tal’s experience with an argan-oil hair treatment while traveling became the starting point for Moroccanoil. She and Ofer Tal developed a salon product around the transformation she saw in her own hair.
The original goal
The goal was simple: share a treatment that made dry, damaged hair feel smoother, shinier, and easier to manage.
How the idea still shows up
One treatment grew into a full salon-led range, while argan oil and the original fragrance remain the brand’s signatures.
